SSH Managed Security Middleware Achieves Entrust Ready™ Status

Relationship Provides Customers with Best-in-Class End-to-End Security Solution

HELSINKI, FINLAND; PALO ALTO, Calif. and TOKYO - SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading developer of managed security middleware, today announced that its SSH Tectia™ Client and Server 4.1 solution for integrated, multi-platform secure communications has achieved Entrust Ready™ status. The Entrust Ready designation is awarded by Entrust, Inc. [Nasdaq: ENTU], a world-leading provider of Identity and Access Management solutions, and refers to products and services that have been reviewed for compatibility and interoperability with Entrust offerings. This integration will allow customers to leverage Entrust's Secure Identity Management and Secure Data solutions for secure remote access and file transfer using the SSH Tectia product.

Use digital certificates issued with Entrust Authority™ Security Manager for authenticating both users and servers within SSH Tectia client/server solution 4.1. This will enable secure and scalable authentication, while reducing the administration burden related to user management.
Integrate SSH Tectia Client and Connector 4.1 with products from the Entrust Entelligence™ product portfolio, which provides Windows users with a single login procedure for both secure remote administration and application tunneling. As a result, organizations can implement transparent communications security to enterprise desktops helping to reduce total costs.
Incorporate Entrust Authority™ toolkit libraries with SSH Tectia Server 4.1 to facilitate centralized host key management for scalability without the need for third party-driver installation.
