Entrust Extends Secure Identity Management Solution with Passlogix Industry Leading Enterprise Single-Sign-On
Entrust Resells Passlogix to Deliver Secure Streamlined Desktop Access

RSA® CONFERENCE 2004/SAN FRANCISCO - Entrust, Inc. [NASDAQ: ENTU], a world leader in identity and access management, and Passlogix®, the developers of the first universal enterprise single sign-on (SSO) solution, today announced that Entrust has added market-leading Passlogix v-GO SSO ® to the Entrust Secure Identity Management Solution. The move enables Entrust to provide customers with a complete 'best-of-breed' solution that extends across client-server, Web, and Web services environments.
Entrust is increasing its commitment to address identity and access management needs for global enterprises and governments by reselling Passlogix v-GO SSO, addressing the need for a simplified user log-in experience on the desktop that ultimately reduces help desk costs and enhances the security of password management. The technology provides users with a single secure authentication point for virtually all Windows®, Web, Java, proprietary and host-based applications without requiring any complex application integration. It supports a broad range of authentication methods, including Entrust digital IDs, Entrust USB tokens, and smart cards, and is also available as a standalone purchase from Entrust.
According to a Forrester Research report on Enterprise Single Sign-On by lead analyst Steve Hunt: Passlogix consistently earns high praise from its customers. Its product, v-GO SSO, features secure local credential caching and very easy setup. Forrester believes that a properly managed enterprise SSO deployment always results in a beneficial impact on user and help desk productivity.
