Entrust GetAccess™

GetAccess for SAML 2.0 Interoperability

Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 is a leading industry standard for Identity Federation. It is an open standard, approved and driven by the Organization for Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS). Entrust can proudly say that along with other leading industry vendors, it has been actively participating in the definition of SAML 2.0 from its inception.

As adoption of SAML 2.0 grows in the industry, organizations will be increasingly seeking vendor interoperability validation by an independent and credible 3rd party organization. The Liberty Alliance consortium has been involved with SAML from its very beginnings, and is an ideal independent external party to validate the level of SAML interoperability of different vendor solutions.

Entrust GetAccess™ has passed Liberty Alliance SAML 2.0 interoperability testing, which means that Entrust customers will now benefit from an industry-approved security product that they can integrate with their web partners and affiliates to allow web Single Sign-On (SSO) deployments to help meet the requirements of their business partnerships. Implementing SAML 2.0 Entrust for GetAccess™ provides a standard way to define user authentication, authorization and attribute information in federated cross-domain Web and Web Services environments.
