Nancy Cox

Nancy has been professionally involved with messaging and collaboration technologies since 1997. She has authored/edited seven books and two dozen articles on messaging topics. Nancy's main interests are directories and identity management, email archiving and retention, messaging project management, regulation and compliance, and collaborative applications such as calendaring, scheduling and team spaces. Prior to Ferris Research Nancy managed Information Systems for Walt Disney World, performing strategic planning and implementation of metadirectory services, messaging, calendaring, workflow and e-business technologies for 55,000 users. She was a Sr. Technology Editor for Network Computing Magazine, and was a Systems Architect at Lockheed Martin.
Currently Nancy is an Associate Professor of Information Systems for the University of Maryland University College - European Division. Certified in Distance Learning, her coursework focuses on Database Modeling, Systems Design and IT Project Management. She holds a BS in Education from the University of Georgia and an MBA in Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology. Nancy is based in Orlando.

Dr. Suhayya (Sue) Abu-Hakima, is the Vice President of Content Technology at Entrust. Sue is Founder, President/CEO of AmikaNow! Corporation whose compliance business was recently purchased by Entrust. Sue's vision provided the basis for the Amika™ products and solutions that contributed to Entrust's new solutions for email compliance. Sue launched AmikaNow! as a spin-off from the National Research Council of Canada R&D Labs, where she spent 11 years focused on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to real-world problems as diverse as aircraft engine diagnosis to intelligent messaging agents.
Previously, Sue was with Bell Northern Research (now Nortel Labs). She holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University and Masters and Doctorate degrees from Carleton University specializing in AI algorithms. She holds an Adjunct Professor position at Carleton University. She sits on the board of directors at OCE and ORNEC which are Centers of Excellence. Sue has over 100 mostly refereed publications, 2 patents granted and 2 more patents pending for message content analysis in wired and wireless applications.
