Entrust Entelligence Email Plug-in
Entrust Entelligence™ Email Plug-in, a key component of the Entrust Secure Messaging Solution, provides security for internal and external email communications when used with email applications such as Microsoft® Outlook®.
Email Plug-in leverages an organization’s current enterprise infrastructure and integrates with most existing messaging platforms to enable users to seamlessly deliver security to email messages while in transit and while stored on the desktop.
Key features include:

- can be installed in an organization’s existing Microsoft® Outlook® messaging environment
- uses open standards such as S/MIME, PKCS#12 and X.509 certificates

- single login into Windows provides additional ease-of-use to the end user
- reduced calls to the help desk keeps IT support budgets in check

- handles key and certificate updates seamlessly when certificates expire
- provides key backup and recovery, allowing users to access older encrypted email as an inherent feature of the security solution
- uses digital signatures to verify the identity of the sender, and protect the integrity of the message and any content that is sent as an attachment
- works with devices and hardware tokens that can be used to provide stronger authentication
- automatically and transparently encrypts outbound email messages for S/MIME compliant content scanners
