Built on Entrust Managed Services PKI, Entrust Credentialing Services produces and manages a single unified identity credential for each person associated with an enterprise, government agency or citizen population.

Credentialing Services Data Sheet

Scalable, Versatile. The service facilitates mobility, interoperability and security of end-user access by employing one credential for building access, computer/logical access, document-signing and enabling authenticated use of wide range of applications.

Quick, Efficient. Whether for a specialized global event or straightforward citizen or employee credentialing, the service can be deployed quickly and efficiently — allowing an organization to focus on core objectives.

Government Grade. In advanced deployments, the multipurpose smartcards can also include the eMRTD data identical to an ePassport. Compliant with ICAO standards, this capability helps extend the value of the solution, particularly for law enforcement organizations and government departments.

Future-Proof. Because it's powered by a hosted service, Entrust credentials can be scaled to take advantage of future biometric standards, including fingerprints, retina scans or facial recognition — all on the same smartcard.

End-User Ease. One card to carry, one PIN to remember and only one process for authenticating users who "left their card at home." End-user acceptance helps reduce cost and unburdens help desks.

On the Grid. For non-electronic strong authentication to enterprise resources and application, Entrust's patented grid authenticator can be seamlessly embedded on the reverse side of the smartcard. The easy-to-use grid consists of numbers and characters in a row-column format. Users must reply to a coordinate challenge with information in corresponding cells from the unique grid tied to their vetted identity.
