Steve Holton

Senior Vice President & General Manager, U.S. Sales and Managed Services

Joining Entrust in 2007, Steve Holton brings more than 15 years of sales success in early-stage and mature technologies, with extensive experience in start-up, turnaround, IPO and accelerated-growth situations. His current role allows him to oversee all U.S.-based direct and indirect sales, and lead all global activities related to the sale of Entrust's hosted product line, including PKI and SSL.

Holton, a go-to-market specialist, served as the Vice President of North American sales for RightNow, an on-demand CRM software vendor. Under his five-year direction, RightNow's annual revenue grew from $2 million to $65 million with 20 consecutive quarters of revenue growth and the ultimate launch of RightNow's IPO in 2004 (NASDAQ:RNOW). With the influence of his sales leadership, RightNow became a profitable on-demand CRM global leader with offices on four continents and over 1,200 SMB/F500 customers.

Before his success at RightNow, Holton honed his skills at Pennsylvania-based Sanofi-Pasteur, a vaccine-oriented biotechnology organization. From 1992 to 2000, Holton served as an account manager and regional sales manager, earning a number of awards for successful sales performance. He revitalized a sales force and oversaw the company's best-performing region with three consecutive years of award-winning over-achievement.

During this time, Holton helped found and currently sits on the board of directors for GEMBA Funds, an investment firm specializing in international real estate. He also served on the Red Cross of Montana board of directors in 2002.
